Daddy's Home!

Well, in case you hadn't heard, my Daddy is home!! Now, I know you are all wondering so we'll share what we have...
I have been very excited and overwhelmed a lot in the past few days. I very much want to keep a clear line of sight on this special man, but have not quite given in to him doing any "Mommy tasks" (aka. anything Mommy has done for the last 4 months). It will come.

We have had an eventful few days together. He and Mommy had to go to work today, but Daddy came and got me and took me to the park and the zoo after nap! We had a GREAT afternoon! Mommy is playing Bunco for Breast Cancer tomorrow night to raise money so I guess it'll just be us for bedtime... :)

The afternoon went like this...
Happy, waiting for Daddy and enjoying a Capri Sun.
Pleased that I'm on a train while I wait.
Sad, okay really mad. They put the train away.
Waiting (and tired of standing).
"Yay" (everyone else is clapping)
Here they come.Is that my Daddy?
And tears (as people step in front of me and I can no longer see)
But there he finally is!!!
And then after a brief hello and hugs...
We wait some more (blood work, turn-in a couple things)
"Daddy, where are you?"

Together at last!!!!!

I did let him read one story (while I checked him out). I told him, "Face roughy." :)
Well, that is it for tonight. Mommy will post more of our trip to the Pumpkin Patch this weekend. I will continue to check out this guy and let you know if he plans on sticking around!
Love to you all! x

OMG! I didn't know one little girl could have some many expressions and emotions in one afternoon/evening. I hope that this guy is planning on sticking around for awhile cause we'd sure like him too. Glad to have you home safe Shaye.

Hurray for homecomings! (Shaye...you look so tan! Almost like you've been in the sun a lot :) )Glad your ordeal is over. Love seeing Miss Maddy check out her Daddy :) You've got to wonder what exactly they're thinking though all of this. Your pictures say a ton. Love to you all. Nothing beats being together.
