Well, I think it is officially Fall here (or at least by weather definition). We got to spend a little bit more time outside before it was a bit too cold this week. Mommy now makes me dress in layers and always totes around a coat!
The week was pretty uneventful. I get to spend one morning a week at Ms. Maureen's house (my babysitter when Mommy was working). Mommy says she is working on classes so she can get a job in Texas. I don't mind. Maureen has soooo many toys and we play and play and play!
Aside from a few errands, Mommy and I spent lots of time getting faster at walking and mastering stairs. I have no idea about the "down" part, but LOVE going up! It is also quite amusing to "run" from Mommy and Daddy these days.
Anything new about me? Um....
Have I mentioned that I get to brush my teeth every day now? I have been doing this for about a month, but really want to be independent and don't let Mommy help all the time. (My toothbrush has a kitty on it!) I also am working on my independence with eating. I love trying out my fork and always try to take the spoon from Mommy. I very distinctly have "words" and use some sign with Mommy so she knows what I want. The list that I can remember includes signs for "more", "all done", and "milk." My words "Day" for Daisy and "Dada" for Daddy. I can imitate and say lots of sounds but these are the only ones I use consistently that Mommy will give me "word" credit for. Man, living with a Speech Therapist is hard work!

**This is the result of getting the camera out and telling Madelyn to "Say Cheese"
Well, I think that is about it. Not too much going on here. Oh, Daddy is on his way home from CA so I'm excited to see him tomorrow! I often follow him around the house when he gets home :)Love to you all,
Madelyn et. al.
Videos: Walking and playing outside. A few minutes after this, Daisy actually popped my ball, but Daddy bought me another one :) P.s. Watch Daisy FLY over me... YIKES
A rare opportunity. Sign caught on tape.. "All done"

Well it is official--she absolutely has her grandpa's(mom's) hair!! How did she not end up with any of Shaye's curls!?
Maddy it looks as though you are up to your usual mischief! Man she is going to keep you guys on your toes, you can see it in her eyes!! Hopefully you get some more nice fall days to play outside!!
Love the picture of her "saying cheese"!

I agree with Auntie Jessica...that 'cheese' picture is priceless! Glad all is well...when do your movers come to pack you up? I was thinking that it's probably not far off....
